4 Motion Darlington – Terms of Use

Risks Involved

By entering or using the skatepark, you acknowledge and accept that BMX, scooter, skateboard and related activities are physically demanding and carry significant inherent risks. These risks can result in serious injury or death. Participation is entirely at your own risk. 4 Motion Darlington accepts no liability for injuries, accidents, losses or damages sustained. By using the skatepark, you agree to waive all claims against 4 Motion Darlington, its Directors, Employees, Volunteers and Landlords.

Helmets & Protective Gear

  • Under 16s: Helmets are compulsory.

  • 16 and over: Helmets are optional but strongly recommended.

  • For all riders, we strongly advise the use of additional protection such as knee, elbow and wrist guards.

Medical Assistance

You consent to 4 Motion staff and/or external medical professionals providing medical assistance in the event of an accident. 4 Motion Darlington accepts no liability for the outcome of any medical treatment. If you have a medical condition, you must inform staff before using the skatepark.

Video & Photography

Photos and video may be taken within the skatepark. By entering, you give consent for your image to be used by 4 Motion Darlington across our media and publicity channels. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify a member of staff.

Behaviour & Conduct

  • Respect staff, volunteers and fellow park users.

  • Abusive, rude or violent behaviour will not be tolerated – you will be asked to leave.

  • Riding, skating or scootering is not permitted in corridors, reception or spectator areas.

  • No food or drink on the ramps.

  • Littering, vandalism or unauthorised graffiti will result in removal and/or a ban from the park.

Spectating

  • Spectators must remain in the designated seating areas.

  • Do not sit on safety rails.

  • Report all accidents or injuries to reception immediately.

Drugs, Alcohol & Smoking

  • No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the building.

  • Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on or around the 4 Motion site.

  • If under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you may not take part in any activity.

All Users

By entering the park, you agree to follow these Terms of Use at all times. Failure to comply will result in removal from the park without refund.

Resi Rules

Ride at your own risk. This ramp does not prevent injuries.

Helmets are mandatory for all riders at all times.

Pads and long sleeves are strongly recommended.

No pegs allowed on the resi ramp.

Bar ends must be fitted to all handlebars.

One rider at a time. Never drop in if the ramp is occupied.

Queue fairly and take turns.

No dropping in or climbing on the vert wall.

Keep shirts on at all times.

No food, drinks, or personal belongings (bags/clothing) on the Ramps.

Exit safely. Do not cross the park. Go back up the ramp and down the stairs.

Be respectful. Fighting or abusive behaviour will result in an immediate ban.

Zero Tolerance Policy: This park is monitored by 24-hour CCTV. Anyone breaking these rules will be removed from the premises immediately.
